Virtual Field Trips

Fellow homeschooling mom Jena over at Yarns of the Heart is hosting a virtual field trip. Topsy-Techie suggested that I submit one of mine, which I did. Because I do *everything* that she tells me to ;D So go through your posts and e-mail her the link by this Friday. She'll list them on Monday. And if you don't want to submit something, that's OK, too - you can still go and check out the entries for a little armchair travel!

Just click on this pix, and you'll head right over to Jena's!

Hey! Thanks for spreading the word! I do have some great posts to share but I want more more more!!! To all your readers: Any place your family enjoyed would be great. I have things as diverse as a trip to Egypt and to grandma's goat farm. :)

Carri,

I finally got a chance to take a peek at your blog. I love it and the links you have there, I think I am going to have to steal some of them. I will be popping over to Jena's in just a bit.

I do want to know how you came up with "pack of hungry snails"? LOL

Waitaminit, I thought you did everything I told you to do?! ;D

I'd play except that I've not had time to do my regular Tuesday blog post, let alone anything else on top of that. Oy.

I had a *real* fieldtrip today and got to meet (second time) a blogging/homeschool buddy of mine! Went to see the play, An Ideal Husband...it was sooo funny!

Now I'm really kicking myself for running errands today rather than taking that trip to the National Seashore I had planned...

Seriously, I chose shopping for a scale and a lapdesk over the National Seashore. What IS my problem?

Jena,
Not a problem! This is actually the first carnival I've ever done, so I'm really excited about participating :)

Tammy,
Feel free to steal away! I do have to *highly* recommend the Toad Haven link listed under our "favorite homeschooling sites". I love, love, love everything on there!

As for our name, click on this link: http://packofhungrysnails.blogspot.com/2008/01/my-first-blog-post.html and all shall be revealed! :D

Teresa,
I *do* do everything you tell me to. AND Kerry. Which is why it's a really good thing that the two of you haven't gotten together, or else I'd be in a lot of trouble ;D

I'm so glad you actually got out of the house today! I know how much you love being a hermit *grin*

Lori,
A scale, as in to weigh yourself on? You skipped the beach for that?!? How very masochistic of you *snort*

Hi,
I wanted to tell you how much we have enjoyed your blog this morning. My 8 and 4 year-old boys and I came here by way of Yarns of the Heart, and we've had your blog up for about 3 hours, in large part because of the playlist! The songs you posted are like the soundtrack to my life, and they make me feel so young - my kids can even sing half of them by heart.
Thank you, see you on the Virtual Field Trip!
Karen
